If you have access to an XP PC (which does not need drivers to read the flash disk) you could transfer them to a CD-R (or floppy disk if they're small enough) and run the setup on your (hopefully) 98SE PC from that. P S On checking, I noted that the drivers are already included in a folder on the 4GB Flash Disk. You could consult Tesco Technical Support but I didn't find them useful with ambiguities over the driver to use for their Universal Card Reader. If you have 98 First Edition, unfortunately the package for those drives does not include that as a compatible OS. If you are using 98SE, can you uninstall the wrong driver you downloaded before trying to install the correct one? For PNY Attache USB drives, there are two different Windows 98SE drivers for. Same with the 2GB version, which uses a different driver. PNY Attach USB Flash Drives (64MB USB 1.1) and (128MB to 16GB USB 2.0). ![]() ![]() Who is the USB manufactuer if it is a Sandisk Cruzer with the model no.SDCZ36-008G (That is my USB model no) then their are no drivers for it for Windows 98. FWIW I have 4 of those drives and have had no problems with them at all on Win 98SE. USB's don't actually work with Windows 98.
